Back Cover Blurb

I've been working on this awhile, and I think I've almost got it. Probably have to shorten it a bit, but here it is:

Parker Berenson is a werewolf with a big problem: he's fallen in love with a space alien.

Worse yet, he suspects that Melera, his new love, might be the serial killer terrorizing Seattle. Or maybe she isn't. Just because she's an interstellar assassin doesn't mean she's guilty.

Others aren't so sure. Kurt, the vampire Master and Garrett, a mage and Parker's ex-lover, don't think it's a coincidence that the murders stopped when Melera showed up. It's two against two as Parker and Melera race to prove her innocence, and Kurt and Garrett connive to prove her guilt. But suspicions of guilt or innocence no longer matter when the four discover the real killer is something they could have never imagined...

And a good time was had by all. As usual, learned a lot, partied a lot, didn't sleep a lot.

My reading went well, and the other women who participated in the RFR were just awesome!

Backtrack

I've decided to continue with my original thought. There's going to be a space battle in the middle of an urban fantasy. Let's not prejudge, shall we? Besides, it just might turn out well.

Don't worry though. Parker won't be flying any spaceships...

The Horror Show

The day job has taken over my life again...but I'll be back soon!

Whew...

It's been a difficult summer. The death of a close family member, then my own issues taking center stage...

I'm writing again, this time working on a different version of Jahannan's Children since the first one was too "science-fiction-y" (or so my editor says). I'm sure she's right, because when I re-read The Underground, I could see how a space battle might turn off readers who're into urban fantasy. On the other hand, they may not care. So I think I'll just continue on the path I'm on, and see what happens.
